El Dorado County ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Action Plan
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events that have significant, long term impacts on children’s developing brains resulting in poor health, social and mental health conditions.
In 2015, El Dorado ACEs collaborative was formed as a communitywide response to eliminate Adverse Childhood Experiences in our County, creating an awareness of the impacts of trauma and promoting prevention, early intervention and treatment for families.
